About thrussellart

painting to commission & exhibition | available for workshops & tuition
thrussellart is the home of the Duncan Thrussell - artist & youth worker.
copyright. DSHT (duncan Stuart Howard Thrussell) | thrussellart

Much of Duncan's art work is based around observations and impressions from nature.

Duncan's paintings have strong links with figurative and traditional art techniques, however search for something deep, sensual and emotional. Sketches and drawings are worked on in the landscape, then brought back into the studio to be poured over and worked onto canvas and boards. Much of his work centre's around travels and walks through the varied Sussex South Downs countryside.
